PAYPAL RENEWAL HOW TO
The detailed instructions below assume you are using a computer or laptop for this transaction – see notes at the bottom of this page if using the PayPal app on a Smartphone.  
1. Log in to your PayPal acct

2. Click on Summary tab at top of PayPal screen 

3. Click the Send icon shown on this screen – a Send payments box will then appear 

4. Type in the following email address all in lower case [email protected] 

5. When the full address is typed in -  a send to the email address box appears – click on the  icon  - i.e. a blue circle with an envelope symbol

6. N.B. Click on the Add a note Box and  type in your full name (or member you are paying for) and  membership number so allow us  update our club records   

7. Click on the 0.00 and key in 4000 which will display on screen as €40.00 and then press continue  

8. On the next screen please select the “SENDING TO FRIEND” option as this will not incur PayPal fees for the club. 

9. Review all details on the next screen which should display that you’re sending €40.00 to [email protected],  sending to a friend, a note with your name and membership number, which card is being used for payment and the amount you’ll pay.

10. If all the details are correct click on the blue Send Payment Now at the bottom of the screen.    

You will get a message on the screen saying you have transferred €40.00 to [email protected] – then click on Go to summary 

On this summary screen under recent activity you will see the transaction just completed and a new contact at the top of your screen with a nice COVOC logo beside it. 

You should also get an email from PayPal to the address linked to the PayPal account used confirming all details of the payment made. 

An email will also be sent to [email protected] with the same details.

Just make sure you send to [email protected]  the amount is €40.00, fill in Add the message box with your name and membership number – and in order to avoid the club paying PayPal fees on the transaction please tick the option for sending to Friends and Family.
