The Norman Pratt Run The Norman Pratt run is the Showcase event of Celtic Old Vehicle Owners club and is held every year on The first Sunday in May .The event commemorates the club founder Norman Pratt who on the inaugural club run in 1992 died at the Hill of Tara . In the intervening years the run has grown to be one of the most popular in the country with entries coming from all over . The route varies from year to year .In recent years it has started and finished at the same venue to facilitate those who might be trailering older cars or motorcycles . Breakfast is available at the start and a full meal is included in the entry fee and in addition lunchtime refreshments are provided in Ballivor. The local committee in Ballivor have been active in recent years in providing street entertainment for the duration of our visit and also presenting prizes to those car owners chosen by local judges . The prizegiving ceremony takes place in the Hotel at the finish during the course of the meal .
