Well it’s that time of year again as the COVOC folks gather at the Trim Castle Hotel to embark on another ‘Colours of Autumn run.
The day started dry and clear with an excellent turn out cars and members. After the obligatory teas, coffees, scones and general catch up chat we rolled out at 11:30 on the dot.
A most enjoyable jaunt ably led by Aiden Garaghty and on his heels Paddy O’Rourke. Today’s route steered us through through or adjacent to the following town lands: Dunderry, Robinstown, Kilmessan, Moynalvey, Maynooth, Dunboyne, Summerhill, Dunshaughlin. Our excursion finished at The Royal Tara Golf Club where we all feasted on a quality two course meal complete with teas and coffee.
