COVOC New Year’s Run 2023.
What a beautiful clear sunny day for our first run of the year. Fantastic turnout by fifty something members in 30 + cars.
Todays saunter took us on a 31 mile run from the Trim Castle Hotel (having fortified ourselves with scones, jam and fresh cream) via Scariff Bridge, Ballivor, Raharney and Delvin to the Old Darnley Hotel in Athboy where we all enjoyed a fabulous carvery lunch. Excellent value value for money with a variety of choices and very large portions.
A big shout out to Paddy Mac & Maurice for their excellent organisational skills and route planning.
