Out on the Slane road and routing initially via Cormeen and Baileborough to our first stop for tea and sangers at the Lavey Inn in Knockanoark, Co Cavan. Suitable fed, watered and de-watered we continued on stage two of our journey meandering on to Ballyjamesduff, (with not a sign to be seen of Paddy Reilly, guess he hasn't come back yet!) Oldcastle and on to Fore. Here we paused for a while to enjoy the visitor centre and for the culturally curious to take in a video of Fore in the auditorium.
Back on the road once again and headed back to the Headfort Arms via Dromore for our customary post run yum yums and awards presentations.
All in all a most successful and enjoyable event with 87 vehicles participating and 150 seated for dinner. A big shout out to the organising committee and their helpers on the day. A huge thank you to all you folks, the participating drivers. Without you folks there would not be an event.
