COVOC COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP PROPOSAL FORM  Sept 2023.
 
  1. The AGM is the forum whereby the committee is elected. Voting at the AGM must be undertaken in person (proxy voting is not permitted).
  2. To be eligible to vote, members must be fully subscribed and be a member of the club for at least six months.
  3. Any member of the COVOC may serve on the committee provided they have secured a Proposer and Seconder and are thereafter elected by the members
  4. If there are two or more members ‘Proposed and Seconded’ for a particular appointment, then a vote will be taken from the members present at the AGM to determine the successful candidate. For each appointment, members may cast just one single vote.
  5. Prior to nominating a member to serve on the committee, please confirm that your chosen candidate is in agreement with your proposal.
  6. Candidates may specify an appointment of preference when seeking election to the committee.
  7. Nominations can be forwarded from the floor at the AGM or by means of this Proposal Form.
  8. Proposal Forms to be handed to the AGM facilitator prior to commencement of voting.
  9. Proposal forms will be administered at the commencement of the AGM.
